Overview

The MDT LSS-XL Generation 2 rifle chassis system is designed to convert a bolt-action Remington 700 Short Action rifle into an external box magazine-fed platform while improving overall accuracy and ergonomics. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black Cerakote finish, it features a V-block bedding system, an open barrel channel for free-floating barrels up to 1.35 inches in diameter, and a full M-LOK forend that is three inches longer than the standard LSS model. This chassis uses AICS-pattern magazines and includes a fixed stock interface compatible with AR-15 buttstocks and grips, an integrated thumb rest, and an integrated barricade stop.
