Overview

The MDT Comp Muzzle Brake is designed to maximize recoil reduction while minimizing shooter and spotter concussion through advanced gas flow simulations. Machined from steel with a black nitride finish, it features four ports cut at varying angles, forward-facing disruptor ports to deflect gas away from the shooter, and tunable upward-vented ports with a slider mechanism for straighter rifle tracking. Serrated baffle tips improve gas flow and lower sound generation, while a recessed target crown protects the secondary crown from damage. It utilizes a purpose-designed, self-timing lock nut that increases holding strength and reduces run-out.
