Overview

The Maxim Defense QD Hatebrake is a modular muzzle device system designed for 5/8x24 threaded barrels, compatible with .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, and similar large-caliber platforms. Machined from 17-4 H900 stainless steel with a Richter C3B coating, the system consists of a QD Flash Hider base and a cone-profile Hate Shroud. The shroud acts as a muzzle brake, directing propellant gas forward to reduce recoil and flash. For suppressed operation, the Hate Shroud can be removed and replaced with a HUB QD Adapter (sold separately). The device measures 1.90 inches in length and is designed to fit under MDX and SDX handguards, offering a clean, integrated profile for rapid suppressor transitions.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
