Overview

The Maxim Defense PDX is a semi-automatic AR-style handgun chambered in 5.56 NATO, designed to deliver rifle-caliber performance in an ultra-compact platform suited for close-quarters engagements and vehicle operations. At its core is a direct impingement system paired with a patent-pending Maxim SCW stock system and an integrated bolt carrier group with interchangeable buffer weights. The pistol features a 5.5-inch fully floated barrel threaded for muzzle devices, augmented by the proprietary Maxim Hate Brake muzzle booster positioned beneath the M-Rax and M-Slot compatible handguard to reduce recoil, mitigate flash, and push blast waves forward. Additional features include a Radian charging handle and selector, an upper receiver with an HK-height Picatinny rail, a black finish, and an included 20-round magazine.
