Overview

The Maxim Defense JP Silent Captured Spring (Heavy) is a self-contained buffer and spring assembly designed exclusively for the Maxim Defense CQB stock and brace series. Featuring a heavy buffer weight equivalent to 4.0 oz using tungsten and stainless steel components, it eliminates metal-on-metal friction and spring noise during cycling. This system requires a bolt carrier group with an open channel for the guide rod and is not recommended for select-fire rifles.
