Overview

The Mark 7 Optical DecapSense Sensor is a quality-control accessory designed for use with Mark 7 Autodrive systems on Dillon XL 650 reloading presses. Mounted at station 2, the sensor uses optical recognition technology to verify that each spent primer is successfully removed from the case. If the sensor detects a failed decap, it stops the press cycle to prevent a live primer from being seated over a spent one. It can also be enabled to function as a brass presence sensor and can be disabled via the Mark 7 tablet when processing new, unprimed brass.
