Overview

The Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard is a lightweight, modular hand guard for AR-15/M4 firearms equipped with mid-length gas systems and an A2 front sight assembly. Constructed from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer with an integral riveted aluminum heat shield, the hand guard includes M-LOK accessory slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions for mounting tactical accessories. The design features a large front extension and lower lip to protect the user from the hot front sight gas block. It is a direct replacement for most factory mid-length plastic hand guards and requires the use of a round front hand guard retaining cap and a spring-loaded delta ring.
