Overview

The Magpul MOE SL (Slim Line) Hand Guard is a lightweight, modular replacement for standard AR-15/M4 carbine-length or mid-length two-piece plastic handguards. Featuring a Stealth Gray color and reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction, it includes an integral riveted aluminum heat shield for durability. The design incorporates M-LOK accessory slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions, allowing for the attachment of lights, grips, and other accessories. It is compatible with most piston-driven and direct impingement gas systems and utilizes the existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap. Note that it requires a triangular A2 front sight assembly for installation; it is not compatible with other gas blocks, and the factory sling swivel on the A2 sight must be removed.
