Overview

The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard (MAG620) is a reinforced, heat-resistant polymer replacement for stamped receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles that utilize a front handguard retaining cap. It features an extended gripping surface, an integrated black-oxide-coated stainless steel heat shield, and M-LOK mounting slots at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for accessory attachment. The hand guard includes a replacement polymer gas tube cover, allows for the use of the factory cleaning rod, and is compatible with the UltiMAK optics mount. It is designed to fit rifles with or without a front sling loop on the retainer and is not compatible with Yugo-pattern rifles. Some fitting may be required due to varying AK manufacturing tolerances.
