Overview

The Magpul MOE AK Hand Guard is a replacement handguard for standard stamped-receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles without a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. Constructed from reinforced, heat-resistant plum polymer, it features an integrated black oxide-coated stainless steel heat shield and an extended gripping surface with side extensions to protect the shooter's hand from the barrel. Slots are provided at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for direct M-LOK accessory attachment or M-LOK Picatinny rail sections. The unit includes a replacement polymer top cover compatible with UltiMAK optics mounts, accommodates the factory cleaning rod, and counts as a US compliance part for 922(r).
