Overview

The Magpul Tactile Lock-Plate is a polymer magazine enhancement designed for rapid and easy identification of mixed magazine loadouts, such as ball, tracer, supersonic, or subsonic rounds. These plates feature 1/8-inch raised ridges—available in Type 1 (single ridge) and Type 2 (double ridge)—that protrude through the magazine floor-plate opening. The height of these ridges is optimized to ensure tactile differentiation even while wearing gloves. The plates maintain full functionality whether the magazine is inserted in a firearm or stored in a pouch. This product is compatible with standard PMAG 10/20/30 AR/M4 GEN M3 and PMAG AR 300 B GEN M3 floor-plates, but is not compatible with the PMAG 40 AR/M4 GEN M3. Each pack contains 5 black lock-plates.
