Overview

The Magpul Storage/Type Restricted (STR) is a collapsible, drop-in replacement buttstock for AR-15/M4 carbines equipped with mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes. Built on a reinforced polymer A-frame design, the STR features dual, water-resistant battery tubes accessible via hand-removable rubber plugs at the rear. The design provides an enhanced cheek weld and incorporates a supplemental friction lock to minimize wobble on the receiver extension. Additional features include two integral sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling swivel mounting point, and a replaceable 0.30-inch thick rubber butt pad designed to provide positive shoulder purchase. This U.S.A.-made stock does not include a buffer tube assembly.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
