Overview

The Magpul Hunter Lite stock is a purpose-built, streamlined upgrade for Savage AXIS short-action rifles, reducing weight by 20 percent and narrowing the forend by nearly 25 percent compared to the original Hunter line. Configurable for both right- and left-hand shooters via an easily swappable inlet insert, it features an extruded aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel action screw pillars to prevent compression. The stock accommodates barrel profiles up to Medium Palma and utilizes an AICS-compatible magazine well equipped with stamped steel over-insertion stops and an ambidextrous magazine release paddle. Additional features include an enlarged trigger guard for glove use, removable half-inch buttstock spacers for length-of-pull adjustment from 13 to 15 inches, snap-on cheek risers for adjustable comb height, integral sling swivel studs, and M-LOK slots on the forend. This model comes in olive drab.
