Overview

The Magpul MOE AK Hand Guard is a replacement upgrade for standard stamped-receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles that utilize a hand guard retaining cap without a sling loop. Constructed from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer, the hand guard features an extended gripping portion, an integral black oxide-coated stainless steel heat shield for thermal protection during sustained fire, and M-LOK mounting slots at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for accessory attachment. It includes a replacement polymer top gas tube cover compatible with UltiMAK optics mounts while retaining space for the factory cleaning rod.
