Overview

The Lyman Brass-Smith Ideal Press and Stand Kit is a reloading package featuring a cast iron frame press and a heavy-duty steel stand. The Ideal Press is designed for precision, utilizing compound linkage, a 1-inch diameter ram, and a 3-7/8-inch opening that accommodates all pistol calibers and rifle cartridges with a loaded length up to 3.700 inches. It accepts standard 7/8-inch x 14 thread dies and standard shell holders, with a central handle position suitable for ambidextrous use. The included Universal Press Stand raises the press 9-1/4 inches above the workbench surface to reduce operator fatigue and improve visibility. The stand features pre-drilled mounting plates for most single-station, turret, and progressive presses, along with a blank area for custom mounting patterns. The entire kit features a durable powder-coat finish and weighs 12.6 pounds.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
