Overview

The Lyman 1-cavity bullet mold (model 548657) is engineered for casting .54 caliber (548 diameter) 450-grain Plains bullets. These molds are machined from solid leaded-steel, heat-treated for longevity, and include hardened steel alignment pins. The sprue plates are constructed from solid steel and secured with tempered steel spring washers. Note that mold handles are not included and must be purchased separately.
