Overview

The LWRC IC-A2 is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle featuring a 16.1-inch NiCorr-treated cold hammer-forged smooth barrel and a black finish with a 30-round capacity. Directly descended from rifles developed for the U.S. Army Individual Carbine program, it is built on a Monoforge upper receiver with an integrated rail-base and a 9-inch quad rail system. The rifle utilizes a patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system accessible via two thumb screws, paired with a nickel-boron coated bolt carrier for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance. Controls include a fully ambidextrous lower receiver with a bolt catch and release, magazine release, and fire control access, alongside an LWRCI Enhanced Fire Control Group. Additional features include an ambidextrous charging handle, LWRCI Adjustable Compact Stock, Magpul MOE+ Grip, A2 birdcage flash hider, and LWRCI Skirmish backup iron sights.
