Overview

The LMT LM8 MRP is a semi-automatic AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It features a 16-inch blackened stainless steel barrel with a 1:7-inch twist and an A2 birdcage compensator with a 1/2x28 thread pitch. The barrel is cryogenically treated for enhanced accuracy and durability. The rifle utilizes a direct gas impingement system and includes a low-profile gas block, a standard semi-auto bolt carrier group, and a tactical charging handle assembly. The system is built on a monolithic rail platform, designed to be slim and maneuverable, and arrives with four modular rail segments. The lower receiver is equipped with a collapsible SOPMOD buttstock and a standard trigger group. The overall length of the rifle ranges from 33 inches with the stock collapsed to 36 inches when fully extended. It features five QD sling swivel attachment points for versatile carry options. Included with the rifle are one 30-round magazine, a tactical adjustable rear sight, a tactical front sight, a sling, two heavy-duty push-button swivels, and a torque wrench/driver. All components are U.S.-manufactured.
