Overview

The LMT CQB MRP Defender is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO. It features a 16-inch cryogenically treated chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7-inch twist, a 1/2x28 thread pitch, a low-profile gas block, and an A2 birdcage compensator. Built around a CQB monolithic rail platform upper receiver and a Defender lower receiver with a standard semi-auto bolt carrier group and trigger group, the rifle includes a collapsible SOPMOD buttstock with an overall length varying from 33 to 36 inches depending on stock position. Accessories include a tactical adjustable rear sight, tactical front sight, a 30-round magazine, quick-detach sling swivels, rail panels, and a torque wrench.
