Overview

The Leofoto SO-362CX is a 2-section inverted carbon fiber tripod designed to provide rock-solid support for full-sized firearm combos, rifle chassis, spotting scopes, and heavy surveillance equipment. Constructed with 10 layers of Toray carbon fiber and a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum apex platform, this tripod features an inverted leg design where the widest tube is at the bottom for rapid deployment and maximum stability. The leg tubes do not cross, and the updated "X Version" angle stop features a knurled-bar design that allows for convenient one-handed angle adjustments across three locking leg positions and independent spreads. This system includes the Leofoto MAB-X Precision Rifle Ball Head, machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard-anodized finish. The ball head features a redesigned lever-release Arca clamp with adjustable clamping width and a lever-controlled ball. The ball head can be removed from its 75mm/100mm systematic adapter and used independently via its X rosette and 3/8" mounting studs. The tripod offers an operating height ranging from 5.43" to 64.49", a folded length of 39.37", and an impressive weight capacity of 88.18 lbs while weighing 4.78 lbs total. It is equipped with standard rubber feet and an interchangeable steel spiked feet set, and ships with a padded carrying case designed with extra space to accommodate the head.
