The Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense .45 ACP ammunition features a 135-grain solid copper monolithic projectile. Engineered for terminal performance, the bullet utilizes radial flutes to force hydraulic energy inward, creating high-pressure spikes that cause significant tissue damage. This design provides deep, straight penetration—often reaching 18 inches—and a permanent wound cavity larger than most conventional expanding hollow-point bullets. The ammunition is barrier-blind, maintaining efficacy through materials such as sheet metal, automotive glass, and drywall. This new-production ammunition is non-corrosive, boxer-primed, and features reloadable brass cases.
