Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos ammunition is engineered for hunting, animal culling, pest control, and personal defense. The lead-free .223 Remington rounds feature 62-grain solid copper or brass projectiles CNC-machined from bar stock rather than formed or swaged, ensuring exceptional accuracy and safe suppressor use. Designed to expand exclusively upon impact with fluid media, the projectile overcomes hydraulic pressure to fracture and shed its front portion into multiple petals that radiate outward. This action releases a massive energy spike and creates extensive temporary and permanent wound cavities for quick incapacitation. Meanwhile, the solid bore-diameter base continues penetrating deeply in a straight line to ensure thorough terminal performance. This new-production ammunition features non-corrosive, boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases. Each box contains 20 rounds, with a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 1,080 foot-pounds.
