Overview

The collet die works by squeezing the case neck against a precision mandrel, creating a precisely aligned neck with minimal run-out without the need for case lubrication. This process preserves the fire-formed fit of the brass and is intended for use with cases fired in the user's own rifle; it is not recommended for autoloading, slide-action, or lever-action firearms. The system includes a collet-type decapper clamp designed to prevent breakage by allowing the decapper to slide upward if an obstruction is encountered.
