Overview

The Lee Precision 00 Buckshot Mold is a precision-machined, aluminum multi-cavity tool designed for efficient, high-volume bullet casting. This 18-cavity mold produces 18 linked .330-inch diameter pellets per cast, which allows for the creation of enough buckshot to load two 12-gauge shotshells simultaneously. The aluminum construction ensures rapid heating and cooling, providing a lightweight option that reduces operator fatigue during extended casting sessions. To ensure uniformity and reduce sprue waste, the mold halves are CNC machined. The unit features a cam-operated, hard-anodized sprue plate held by tempered spring washers. It is designed for use with Lee’s standard 6-cavity mold handles, which are sold separately. For optimal results, Lee Precision recommends smoking the mold cavities with a wooden match, beeswax candle, or butane lighter rather than using spray-on mold release products.
