Overview

The Lee Precision #4 Buckshot Precision Mold is an efficient, cost-effective aluminum mold designed for reloaders producing 18-cavity buckshot casts. Machined from rust-resistant aluminum, the mold blocks heat up and cool down faster than traditional iron or steel alternatives while significantly reducing weight to minimize user fatigue during extended casting sessions. Each cast produces 18 linked .240-diameter, 21-grain pellets—enough to load two 12-gauge shotshells. The precision CNC-machined cavities ensure unmatched roundness and size control, and the tangential cut-off eliminates the nib at the sprue cut-off. This mold is compatible with Lee's standard 6-cavity mold handles.
