Lee Precision 6.5 PRC Factory Crimp Die - 91492

Overview

The Lee Precision 6.5 PRC Factory Crimp Die (91492) is designed for use with 6.5 PRC rifle cartridges and features a 7/8"-14 thread pattern. This collet-style die applies a firm, rifle-like crimp to the case mouth, which helps improve accuracy by ensuring a more uniform pressure curve before the bullet exits the case. Because the collet is highly effective, bullets do not require an existing crimp groove; the die is capable of forming one during the crimping process. This design minimizes the risk of buckling the case compared to traditional roll crimp dies. Note that this is not a carbide die and the shellholder is sold separately.
