Overview

The Lee Double Cavity Mold is designed for casting .459-inch diameter, 500-grain pointed round nose bullets suitable for .45-70 Government cartridges. Machined from rust-resistant aluminum blocks using CNC equipment, the mold heats up and cools down faster than iron or steel alternatives while offering a lightweight design that reduces user fatigue during casting sessions. The double-cavity block features a tangential cut-off design to help eliminate excess material at the sprue cut-off for clean, uniform bullet production. The package includes hardwood handles for secure grip and safe operation.
