Overview

The Lee Precision double-cavity bullet mold is designed for casting .457-inch diameter, 450-grain flat nose bullets suited for large-bore cartridges such as the .45-70 Government. Constructed from rust-resistant aluminum, the mold heats up and cools down quickly to facilitate efficient high-volume production while reducing user fatigue. The mold blocks are lathe-bored to ensure precise roundness and size consistency, and a tangential cut-off design helps eliminate excess material at the sprue cut-off. This unit includes hardwood handles for immediate use straight out of the box.
