Overview

The Lee Precision Factory Crimp Die for .30-40 Krag is a steel reloading die designed to apply a secure, rifle-type crimp to cartridge cases. Utilizing a powerful collet mechanism, the die squeezes the case mouth firmly onto the bullet, providing uniform pressure and a reliable hold whether or not the bullet features a cannelure. This crimp method reduces velocity variation, creates higher start pressure, and eliminates the risk of buckling the case compared to standard roll crimp dies. The die comes packaged in a plastic storage case, with shellholders sold separately.
