Lee Precision 270 Winchester Short Magnum Factory Crimp Die

Overview

The Lee Factory Crimp Die for the .270 Winchester Short Magnum incorporates a powerful collet mechanism to apply a secure, uniform rifle-type crimp directly to the case. This design eliminates the need for bullets to have a dedicated crimp groove, as the collet forms one during operation. By ensuring the bullet stays firmly in place during chambering and firing, the die increases start pressure for a more uniform pressure curve, reduced velocity variation, and improved overall accuracy.
