Overview

The Lee 2-Cavity Bullet Mold is designed for casting 175-grain, 8mm caliber (.324 diameter) round nose bullets with gas check capability. This mold is CNC machined from aluminum, which provides excellent heat conductivity for faster heating and cooling compared to iron or steel molds, while also remaining lightweight to reduce user fatigue during extended casting sessions. The mold features a double-cavity design, allowing for the production of two bullets per pour. It includes handles and is designed for use without spray-type mold release products; Lee recommends smoking the cavity with a match, beeswax candle, or lighter to facilitate bullet release.
