Lauer Custom Weaponry Ultra Flat DuraCoat in Tactical Dark Earth is a high-durability firearm finish designed for application to ferrous metals, alloys, synthetics, and wood. This two-part system includes both the finish and a hardener, offering legendary resistance to chemicals, water, and abrasion. DuraCoat does not require preheating or baking during the curing process, avoiding common issues associated with heat-cure finishes such as orange-peel textures or inconsistent surface cooling. The finish can be applied using an airbrush, conventional automotive spray gun, HVLP system, or a Preval sprayer. Once applied, the dry film thickness can be customized from 0.25 to 1.5 mil.
