Lauer Custom Weaponry DuraBake is an oven-cured enamel firearm finish designed for durability and high-heat resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. The gray finish is applied via aerosol and requires a 300-degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for 15 minutes to cure. For optimal results, the firearm or parts should be completely disassembled and cleaned with a high-quality degreaser prior to application. While not required, blasting the surface before application is recommended to ensure the best adhesion for this one-component coating.
