Overview

The Lantac Ultimate Forward Assist (UFA-S) is a precision-engineered AR-platform component turned on a Swiss lathe from certified 4140 Cr-Mo steel. It is heat-treated to 48-52 Rc and finished with a QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) Nitride process for corrosion resistance. The assembly features a stainless 316 music wire spring with closed-end coils for improved alignment and a plunger detent spring made from zinc-plated music wire. It is retained within the upper receiver using a spiral design pin.
