Overview

The LanTac Milspec BCG (Model 01-MSPEC-556-NIT-BCG) is an AR-15 bolt carrier group finished in black nitride (QPQ Nitride) for enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. The full-auto style carrier with increased mass is precision-machined from 8620 steel, heat-treated, and hard ground to strict military specifications. The MPI-tested bolt is machined from Carpenter 158 (or 9310) steel, shot-peened with S110 shot, and hard ground. Additionally, the assembly features a proprietary CP-R360 domed head cam pin machined from 17-4PH stainless steel, hand-polished, and hardened to H900 condition to minimize friction and wear within the upper receiver.
