Overview

The LanTac Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (E-BCG) is a precision-machined component designed for .308/7.62x51 NATO platforms. The carrier is manufactured from 8620 steel and features a Black Nitride QPQ finish, which provides a hard, smooth surface with high corrosion and wear resistance. The bolt is manufactured from Carpenter 158 steel, shot-peened for strength, and magnetically particle inspected. The E-BCG design incorporates forward-facing, enlarged gas ports to vent gas differently than standard carriers, resulting in a flatter, smoother energy pulse and reduced pressurization within the upper receiver, particularly useful for suppressed rifles. The assembly includes a patented CP-R360-H domed head cam pin made from 17-4PH stainless steel to reduce wear inside the receiver. The carrier features a flared tail boss for consistent buffer tube alignment, while the gas key is hard chrome-lined, fitted with gasket sealer, and properly staked using Grade 8 fasteners. Weighing approximately 1 lb 2.1 oz, this BCG is engineered for consistent, reliable operation.
