Overview

The Lancer Systems LCH7 is a lightweight, free-float handguard designed for LR-308 rifles and similar .308 AR platforms threaded for 16 or 18 threads per inch on the barrel nut. Constructed from an octagonal carbon fiber tube combined with 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum components, this handguard offers exceptional rigidity and strength while maintaining a minimal profile with an outside width of 2.2 inches and an inside width of 1.89 inches. The assembly utilizes a two-piece barrel nut system consisting of an outer nut that attaches to the upper receiver and an inner nut that secures the barrel. Cooling slots are integrated to manage barrel temperatures, while M-LOK compatibility allows for easy accessory attachment. Slots at the 6 o'clock position support accessory rails, and built-in holes accommodate a sling swivel stud for bipod mounting. An aluminum end-cap protects the carbon fiber forend from rough handling during duty or competition use.
