The Lancer Systems L5AWM Gen 2 is a 20-round magazine designed for AR-15, M4/M16, SCAR16, HK416, and other compatible weapon systems chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm. Constructed using a patented steel-polymer hybrid design, it combines a durable, impact- and chemical-resistant opaque black polymer body with precision-engineered, hardened steel feed lips. The upgraded Gen 2 feed lips and geometry prevent wear, bending, cracking, or deformation under heavy sustained fire, extreme temperature cycling (tested from -40°F to +180°F), and extended storage.
