The L.E. Wilson neck sizing die bushing (349 diameter, polished steel) is an interchangeable component for all L.E. Wilson bushing-type neck sizing dies. It is used to achieve precise, consistent neck tension, which is a key factor in improving the accuracy of bench-rest ammunition. To determine the appropriate bushing size, measure the outside neck diameter of a loaded round and subtract .002 to .003 inches from that measurement. This ensures the correct amount of grip between the case neck and the bullet after accounting for the natural spring-back of the brass.
