The L.E. Wilson Neck Sizing Die Bushing in polished steel allows reloaders to custom-fit L.E. Wilson neck sizer dies to any brass and bullet combination. To determine the correct bushing size, measure the outside diameter of a loaded cartridge neck with a precision micrometer and subtract .002" to .003" to account for brass spring-back. This calculation provides a consistent .001" to .002" of grip between the case neck and the bullet, ensuring the proper neck tension required for accurate, high-quality benchrest loads. These bushings are fully interchangeable across all Wilson bushing-type neck sizing dies.
