Overview

The L.E. Wilson Expanding Mandrel Die for 6.5mm calibers is a precision reloading tool designed to prepare new or bulk-shipped brass cases for consistent bullet seating. Compatible with standard 7/8"-14 reloading presses, the stainless steel die features a viewing cut-out for easy case alignment and depth adjustment, and comes equipped with an L.E. Wilson-manufactured lock nut. The die expands case necks to a controlled diameter slightly under the final bullet size to establish uniform neck tension and repeatable seating depths without overworking the brass. One mandrel is included, with additional calibers supported through interchangeable mandrels sold separately.
