Overview

The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a bolt-action rifle designed for precision and performance in challenging field environments. It features a 26-inch match-grade stainless steel threaded barrel with a 1:9.5" twist rate and a 7/16"x28 thread pattern, allowing for the attachment of suppressors or other muzzle devices. The action is built on a stainless steel receiver with a 3-position safety, a Mauser-style claw extractor, a fluted bolt body, and a hollow bolt knob. The rifle is set in a lightweight fixed H-S Precision stock constructed from a composite of fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar. The stock incorporates a full-length 7075 aluminum bedding block to provide a stable foundation for the action. It is finished with a 1-inch recoil pad and offers a 13.75-inch length of pull. The trigger is factory-adjustable with a pull weight between 3.5 and 4 pounds. With an overall length of 47.90 inches, the rifle weighs approximately 7.3 pounds. Included accessories for this model are a rifle sling and a carrying case. Note that this 7mm Rem Mag configuration does not include a rear bag cut-out in the stock.
