Overview

The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, featuring a 22-inch match-grade barrel with a threaded muzzle. Built on the 84M action, this rifle utilizes an aluminum bedding block system within a lightweight H-S Precision stock made from a composite of fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar. The bolt body is fluted and paired with a hollow bolt knob to reduce weight while maintaining the structural integrity required for Kimber’s sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. Equipped with a Mauser claw extractor, a 3-position Model 70-type safety, and an adjustable trigger, the rifle is designed for both precision and field reliability. The finish consists of a durable KimPro II black coating on both the stainless steel action and barrel. The stock includes a 1-inch recoil pad and a rear bag cut-out, offering a comfortable 13.5-inch length of pull for hunters seeking a high-performance, lightweight mountain rifle.
