Overview

KG Gun Kote 2400 Series Firearm Finish is a thin, hard coating developed to protect firearms against corrosion and wear while offering a distinct color. Capable of withstanding temperatures from over 500 degrees F down to -320 degrees F, this finish provides high heat dissipation, abrasion resistance, and can be applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and magazines. Application requires sandblasting with 120 grit aluminum oxide, degreasing, preheating parts to approximately 120 degrees F, and baking at 325 degrees F for one hour. Cleanup is performed using Acetone or MEK.
