Overview

KG Gun Kote 2400 Series is a high-performance, abrasion-resistant firearm finish formulated to provide superior corrosion protection and high heat dissipation. Originally developed for U.S. Navy SEALs, the finish meets stringent military requirements and can withstand over 500 hours of salt spray testing. It is stable in temperatures ranging from -320°F to over 500°F and can be applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as plastic. To apply, surfaces must be sandblasted with 120-grit aluminum oxide, degreased, and preheated to 120°F. The finish is applied via an airbrush or spray gun, followed by a bake cycle of 1 hour at 325°F. This 8 oz container is provided in Military Foliage Green.
