KG Gun Kote 2400 Series is a high-performance firearm finish in Mil-Spec Olive Drab Green. Designed for high-heat and corrosion resistance, this coating can withstand temperatures ranging from -320°F to over 500°F and is effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as plastic. This abrasion-resistant finish is suitable for firearms and magazines. Application requires thorough preparation, including degreasing and sandblasting with 120-grit aluminum oxide. After light spray application, the coating must be baked at 325°F for one hour for proper curing.
