Overview

KG Gun Kote 2400 Series is a thin, hard firearm finish designed to protect against corrosion while adding a high-gloss black appearance. Originally developed for U.S. Navy SEAL testing, this formula meets military requirements and is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -320 degrees F to over 500 degrees F. It offers high heat dissipation and can be applied to ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and plastic. Application requires stripping and cleaning parts thoroughly; surfaces should be sandblasted with 120-grit aluminum oxide at 40 lbs of pressure and degreased before application. Following a light, multi-pass spray application, parts should be baked for one hour at 325 degrees F for a permanent cure.
