KG Gun Kote 2400 Series is a thin, hard firearm finish designed for corrosion and abrasion resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -320 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It is applicable to both ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as plastics. The coating requires surface preparation—including sandblasting with 120-grit aluminum oxide and degreasing—followed by a baking process at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
