KG Gun Kote 2400 Series in Flat Dark Earth is a protective firearm finish formulated to resist abrasion and corrosion. The coating is compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as plastics, and remains stable in temperatures ranging from -320°F to over 500°F, while offering high heat dissipation. To apply, surfaces should be sandblasted with 120-grit aluminum oxide and cleaned with a professional-grade solvent degreaser. The finish is applied in light passes using an airbrush or spray gun and must be baked at 325°F for one hour to fully cure. This 8-ounce supply is suitable for use on firearms and magazines.
