The Kestrel 5700 Elite Weather Meter with Applied Ballistics Link in tan is a compact, water-resistant instrument tailored for long-range shooters. Combining real-time environmental data collection with an advanced ballistics solver, it employs the Applied Ballistics custom drag model library to calculate precise fire control solutions and account for aerodynamic jump, spin drift, Coriolis effect, and drop scale factoring. The device measures up to 15 environmental parameters, including wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and altitude, and features G1 or G7 ballistic coefficient selection along with storage for up to 16 gun and bullet profiles. Built to MIL-STD-810G standards, the unit includes Bluetooth LiNK connectivity for mobile apps, a high-resolution screen with dual red and white night vision backlights, and operates on a single AA battery with a rear-sealed door.
